Our company is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as a Chief Accountant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
** Recording and classification of operations in accordance with the company`s accounting policy
** Preparation and adjustment of accounting entries
** Preparation of accounting and statistical reports
** Preparation and submission of tax declarations
** Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (data compilation for reporting purposes)
** Participation in the operation and enhancement of the internal control system;
** Processing and providing information for auditors
** Monitoring and controlling accounts receivable and payable
** Verification of primary documentation and ensuring compliance with legislation
** Ensuring and monitoring proper operation of the document flow system and archiving of documents.
Requirements:
** Higher education in economics (major in accounting or finance);
** Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant;
** Good knowledge of English (knowledge of Russian will be considered an advantage);
** Knowledge of managerial accounting and reporting principles;
** Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS / IAS);
** Profound knowledge of the Georgian Tax Code;
** Excellent knowledge of MS Office software (Excel / Word); knowledge of the accounting software Balance will be considered an advantage.
** Strong written communication and reporting skills;
** Analytical thinking and effective time management skills;
** Strong organizational, planning, and monitoring abilities;
** Ability to effectively manage subordinate staff.
