Are you an experienced Project Manager with strong Business Analyst experience? We are looking for a key individual to act as the primary bridge between our Product and Engineering teams, driving the delivery of innovative, high-volume transactional systems. This dual-role requires mastery in defining requirements, owning the Agile process, and ensuring timely, high-quality product delivery within our core stack environment (Node.js, React, AWS).
Position: Technical Project Manager/Business Analyst - High-Volume Systems
Key Responsibilities (Hybrid Focus):
Project & Delivery Management:
** Agile Ownership: Own and drive the team`s Agile methodology (Scrum/Kanban), including facilitating dev-only daily stand-ups, broader cross-functional stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
** Workload Management: Actively manage the engineering team`s workload and capacity, ensuring balanced distribution of tasks, focused sprint execution, and clear expectations for developers.
** Scope & Timeline: Manage the project scope, timelines, and risks, ensuring the engineering team is focused on high-priority, high-impact tasks. Manage releases and sprintsend-to-end.
** Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and resolve obstacles or bottlenecks affecting the development team`s velocity and throughput.
** Release Coordination: Plan and coordinate product releases, working with QA and operations teams to ensure smooth and successful deployments in a CI/CD environment.
Business Analysis & Discovery:
** Requirements Mastery: Lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with stakeholders across the organization.
** Documentation & Planning: Author clear, concise, and detailed artifacts, including translating complex requirements into well-defined Epics, User Stories (with acceptance criteria), Functional Specifications, etc.
** Technical Translation: Collaborate closely with the Lead Engineers to translate high-level product objectives into actionable, technical work for the development team.
Knowledge Management & Quality Validation:
** Content Localization: Determine when new functionality needs to be documented in the internal Wiki and manage content translations using our internal AI tools.
** QA/Validation: Carry out initial functional testing and requirement validation on developer work items before they get released for formal QA and Regression testing pipeline.
What You`ll Bring: Experience & Leadership
** Location: Must be Georgia-based (Tbilisi-preferred).
** Language: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Georgian are mandatory for effective cross-functional collaboration.
** 5+ years of professional experience in Project Management or PM / BA hybrid role, with previous, demonstrable experience working closely with development teams.
** Proven success in managing complex software projects fr om initial concept through to successful launch and adoption.
** A meticulous and organized approach, with a deep commitment to detail and quality in requirement documentation.
Technical & Process Requirements
** Agile Methodology & Tools: Expert proficiency in applying Scrum and/or Kanban principles. Must be highly familiar with Jira (including custom workflows and sprint boards) and Confluence for tracking work, managing the backlog, and maintaining project documentation.
** SDLC Understanding: Solid comprehension of the Software Development Lifecycle.
** Data Literacy: Ability to define reporting requirements, work with data teams, and use data to inform product decisions.
** Process Mapping: Experience with tools and techniques for current state and future state process mapping.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
** Domain Expertise: Prior experience managing projects related to large volume transactional systems, particularly within the Payments or Banking industry.
** Certifications: Active certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)).
** An understanding/familiarity with the underlying technology stack (Node.js, React, APIs, SQL) to understand technical feasibility and challenges.
