Are you an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer ready to step into a Team Leadership role? We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on engineer to lead our development efforts on innovative, high-volume transactional systems. You will be essential in driving the design, development, and implementation of robust solutions using our core stack: TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Node.js, SQL, ORMs, and AWS.
Position: Lead Full Stack Engineer (Node/React)

Key Responsibilities:
** Lead and mentor a small team of developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
** Drive technical design and architecture decisions, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
** Write clean, well-tested, and highly performant code across the full stack
** Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
** Establish and enforce coding standards, development best practices, and effective CI/CD processes.
What You`ll Bring: Experience & Leadership:
** 6+ years of progressive commercial experience in Full Stack software development.
** Proven experience in a technical leadership or team lead role, including mentoring and driving team standards.
** Ability to own the full end-to-end project lifecycle, fr om concept and design through to deployment.
** Commitment to design principles focusing on maintainability, performance, security, and scalability.
** Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Product and Business teams to ensure successful product delivery.
Technical Requirements (The Core Stack):
** Full Stack Mastery (4+ years): Expert proficiency in Node.js (backend) and React (frontend).
** JavaScript/TypeScript: Deep expertise in modern TypeScript (preferred) and JavaScript.
** API Development: Solid experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with distributed systems.
** Web Fundamentals: Strong command of HTML5 and CSS3.
** Database: Advanced proficiency with Relational SQL DBs (e.g., Postgres, MySQL). Must have strong native SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and database design/optimization.
** ORM: Experience with popular Node.js ORMs (e.g., Knex, Sequelize, TypeORM).
DevOps & Cloud:
** Cloud/AWS: Solid, practical experience with the AWS ecosystem and associated DevOps processes.
** CI/CD: Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
** Containerization: Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
** Tech Stack: Experience with Express/Koa, React MaterialUI, Redis, Postgres, CircleCI will be beneficial
** Domain Expertise: Prior experience with large volume transactional systems, particularly within the Travel or Payments industry.
