Gvarno is currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Web Designer to join our Digital Design Team in Tbilisi. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a variety of digital projects, collaborate with a skilled team, and grow within a dynamic work environment.
Your Role
As a Senior Web Designer, you are expected to take on more complex design tasks and contribute to the creative and technical growth of the Web team. You will produce high-quality visuals, support campaign initiatives, and maintain consistent content updates across multiple websites. You are also expected to collaborate closely with the marketing team, troubleshoot content issues, and begin contributing to design process improvements.
Responsibilities:
** Execute both operational and campaign-based design requests with minimal supervision
** Create and edit banners, motion graphics, and video clips for marketing campaigns
** Develop and maintain marketing and departmental collateral with attention to consistency and branding
** Update and manage website content via CMS platforms, ensuring accuracy and visual alignment
** Troubleshoot basic layout and display issues, and escalate complex cases as needed
** Assist in researching and adopting new creative and technical strategies that support team efficiency
** Collaborate with the marketing team to clarify creative briefs and optimize visual output
** Contribute to maintaining a timely and organized content update schedule
** Report and help resolve complications that impact design delivery and operational flow
** Document learnings, common fixes, or improvements to enhance future workflows
** Stay updated with trends and technologies in web design and multimedia production
Requirements:
** 3 to 5+ years of experience in web design, digital content, or multimedia production
** Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design and animation projects
** Proficient in:
- Photoshop, Illustrator
- After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Blender (3D asset familiarity is a plus)
- Visual Studio Code (basic front-end fixes)
** Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML and CSS
** Strong grasp of CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, custom CMS) and troubleshooting workflows
** High attention to layout, animation, color balance, and design consistency
** Strong communication and collaboration skills
** Experience working across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
Great to Have:
** Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Fine Arts, or a related design field, with relevant coursework in:
- Graphic and Multimedia Design
- Graphics Animation
- Audio and Video Editing
- Multi-Platform Web and Applications Design
- Front-end Development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Certifications in digital design, front-end development, or web technologies
- Familiarity with UI or UX workflows
- Creative ideation and visual storytelling skills
