Cartego is an international company and the official representative of Cambridge.
After establishing a strong presence in several countries, we`ve been proudly operating in Georgia for the past two years — with our own warehouse, stock, and active clients.
Now, as we continue to grow, we`re expanding our local team and looking for a motivated and organized professional to coordinate our operations in Georgia.
As our Operational Country Manager, you`ll oversee and connect the dots between logistics, sales, and administration.
Your role will be key in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, strong client relationships, and the continued growth of our business in Georgia.
We`d love to meet someone who is:
** Proactive, organized, and confident in making decisions.
** Excellent in English (Russian is a plus).
** Open to business travel and enjoys a dynamic work environment.
** Experienced in logistics, sales, administration, or operational management — experience in these areas is a strong advantage.
What you`ll be doing
Logistics & Operations
** Coordinate import processes and communicate with transport companies and customs authorities.
** Oversee incoming goods: quality and quantity checks, documentation control.
** Supervise warehouse activities and step in when needed.
** Manage client deliveries, track shipments, and handle any delays.
** Optimize transport costs and maintain transparent communication with clients.
Sales & Customer Relations
** Get to know our Cambridge product range (we`ll provide all necessary training).
** Support and advise clients on how to use our educational products.
** Process orders and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
Administration & Development
** Identify and evaluate locations for our future office/showroom; coordinate negotiations and lease contracts.
** Plan and oversee the setup of our new space, working with local suppliers and service providers.
** Manage primary accounting documents and ensure proper archiving.
** Build and maintain good relationships with local authorities, suppliers, and partners.
(This role may also include other tasks that support the development and expansion of our operations in Georgia.)
