Georgian Renewable Power Operations (GRPO) is announcing an opening for the long-term position for the Investment Associate.
GRPO is a leading renewable energy platform in Georgia (100% subsidiary of Georgia Capital), investing in the development of renewable energy projects and owns a portfolio of several HPPs and the one and only Wind Farm in Georgia.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Investment Associate to support the execution of strategic priorities across the company. This role provides direct involvement in high-level projects, working closely with the CEO, CFO, Head of Strategic Projects, technical leadership, and cross-functional teams. The Associate will play a key role in investment analysis, financial modeling, project tracking, and preparation of executive-level materials.
The selected candidate shall start on or about December 2025.
Main duties and responsibilities:
** Develop and refine impactful presentations, reports, and briefing materials for leadership, investors, and external stakeholders.
** Build and maintain financial and operational models to guide investment and business decisions.
** Conduct market research, benchmarking, and due diligence for potential investment opportunities.
** Collect, structure, and analyze data across financial, operational, and technical areas.
** Track project milestones, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely progress on strategic initiatives.
** Draft memos, summaries, and policy briefs to support executive decision-making.
** Assist in preparing materials for board meetings, investor updates, and regulatory submissions.
** Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial and operational workflows.
** Provide ad-hoc analytical and project support to senior leadership.
** Coordinate effectively with external advisors, consultants, and partner institutions.
Qualifications/Skills:
** Bachelor`s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master`s preferred).
** 2-4 years of relevant experience (investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, or energy sector).
** Proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and PowerPoint (presentation design).
** Strong understanding of financial statements and investment analysis.
** Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English.
** Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
** Previous experience or strong interest in renewable energy and infrastructure projects is highly valued.
