Location: Tbilisi
Working hours: 09:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday (full-time)
Probationary period: 6 months
Salary: based on the candidate experience
Key responsibilities:
** Participate in the selection of medical devices;
** Inspect and test biomedical equipment such as prosthetics, implants, artificial organs, diagnostic devices, and imaging systems;
** Install, accept, maintain, and repair biomedical devices while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards;
** Collaborate with physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to identify clinical needs;
** Analyze medical data to improve diagnostic and treatment processes;
** Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements for medical devices (JCI, FDA, CE Mark, ISO, etc.);
** Continuously inspecting devices in critical areas (operating room, ICU, ER);
** Providing training and technical support on the use of biomedical equipment;
** Developing documentation such as user manuals, technical reports, and compliance records;
** Calibrating medical equipment;
** Rapid response in case of equipment failure;
** Monitoring the life span of equipment;
** Maintaining a service history of all devices;
** Staying up to date on biomedical technology and healthcare regulations.
Skills and qualifications:
** Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in biomedical engineering or a related field (mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering with a biomedical focus);
** At least 3 years of experience working in a medical institution in the field of biomedical engineering;
** Knowledge of biomechanics, biomaterials, several years of experience working with medical equipment;
** Knowledge of regulatory processes for medical devices;
** Analytical problem-solving skills;
** Ability to absorb and implement innovations;
** Communication and teamwork skills;
** Organizational skills;
** Ability to work in stressful situations;
** Effective time management skills;
** Sense of responsibility;
** Detail-oriented.
