ASB Georgia is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Facilitator for Training Sessions on Social Assistance, improved Teamwork, and Resilience.
Background:
The Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) is continuously dedicated to strengthening the skills and capacities of its staff. For this purpose ASB is organizing a workshop particularly for its social workers and street workers engaged in addressing gender-based violence, supporting displaced persons, and assisting women in crisis.
To further enhance the impact and effectiveness of our programs, we are seeking an experienced facilitator to design and deliver a series of targeted training sessions tailored to the specific needs of our team.
Objectives of the Assignment:
The facilitator will deliver training sessions to:
** Improve knowledge and practical approaches to carrying out effective social assistance programs.
** Strengthen skills in teamwork and collaborative work among staff.
** Build capacities in resilience and stress management to support staff well-being and performance.
Scope of Work/Tasks
The facilitator will be responsible for:
** Preparing a training plan and methodology in consultation with the organization.
** Designing and conducting three interactive training sessions (2 hours each, total 6 hours):
** Social Assistance: Improving program delivery.
** Teamwork, group work and Collaborative Work.
** Resilience and Stress Management.
** Using participatory, interactive and practical methods tailored to the audience.
** Use location (in the forest) for some integrated outdoor activities
** Providing a short summary of key learnings and recommendations after the sessions.
Deliverables:
** Training concept notes and plans (submitted before the sessions).
** Delivery of three 2-hour training sessions.
** Summary/report of training outcomes.
Duration & Location:
** Dates: 29-31 October.
** Location: Surami, Georgia.
** Duration: Total of 6 hours (3 sessions, 3 hours each). including group gathering and conclusion
Required Qualifications:
** Proven experience in training and facilitation in social assistance, social work, resilience, or related fields.
** Strong understanding of issues related to gender-based violence, displacement, and work with vulnerable populations.
** Expertise in participatory and interactive training methods.
** Excellent communication and group facilitation skills.
** Fluency in English (the training will be delivered in English). With translators into Georgian and Russian/Ukrainian
Logistics:
** The organization will provide:
** Transportation and accommodation for the facilitator.
** Necessary materials and equipment for the training.
