Role overview
We are seeking curious and innovative AI Testing Engineers. In this role, you will move beyond traditional automation to develop, train, and integrate AI models into our testing frameworks for financial exchange systems.
You will be at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and high-stakes financial software engineering. Your mission will be to leverage machine learning to intelligently generate test scenarios, predict system behaviour, optimize test suites, and ultimately uncover hidden defects that traditional methods might miss. This is a hands-on, research-oriented engineering role for someone who loves to blend theoretical concepts with practical, impactful application.

Responsibilities:
** Project Delivery: Perform testing activities of financial exchange systems, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
** Software Testing: Design, develop, and execute detailed test scenarios and test cases for financial exchange components (e.g., matching engines, trading gateways) to ensure comprehensive functional and non-functional coverage based on system specifications.
** AI-Augmented Testing: Utilize our proprietary AI models as your main tool to design, generate, and execute complex test scenarios for high-volume, low-latency systems.
** Model Support & Improvement: Work directly with the AI model to configure it for specific system under test (SUT) requirements, fine-tune its parameters, and continuously improve its accuracy and coverage.
** Analysis & Validation: Analyze test results generated by the model, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis to distinguish between model errors and genuine system defects.
** Requirements & Documentation: Apply strong testing fundamentals by analyzing system documentation and business requirements to validate the model`s output and ensure comprehensive coverage.
Must-to-Haves:
** Experience in software test automation, preferably within financial services, fintech, or another complex domain.
** Programming skills in Python / Golang (preferred) or any other programming language (Java, C++) for scripting, test automation, and manipulating data. You must be comfortable reading, writing, and modifying code.
** Excellent analytical skills and a strong grasp of business logic, with the ability to understand complex system specifications and documentation.
** A problem-solver`s mindset, motivated by finding solutions and achieving required results.
Nice-to-Haves:
** A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
** Understanding of the fundamentals: machine learning lifecycle, data preprocessing, model training/evaluation, and MLOps principles. You are expected to be able to configure, run, and interpret the output of a model.
** Direct experience testing exchange technologies, trading systems, or market data platforms.
** Knowledge of financial protocols (e.g., FIX, OUCH, ITCH) and concepts (order types, market data, settlement).
** Experience with data analysis (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
** Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
