Spectrum is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our presence in the architecture and construction industry. In this strategic role, you will identify new business opportunities, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the development of key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
** Develop and execute business development strategies to generate new leads and opportunities.
** Act as the main communicator with potential and existing clients — from first introduction to contract signing — ensuring their needs are understood and addressed quickly.
** Lead client presentations, prepare tailored proposals, and clearly explain Spectrum`s design-to-installation process for both architecture and art projects.
** Identify and engage potential clients in hospitality, luxury residential, corporate, and cultural sectors.
** Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure successful project acquisition.
** Collaborate with Spectrum`s creative and project management teams to align client needs with design, production, and installation capabilities.
** Source and establish partnerships with art fabricators, mosaic and tile producers, textile mills, glass and metal workshops, and digital installation specialists to deliver Spectrum`s bespoke artworks.
** Represent Spectrum at design fairs, art events, hospitality expos, and cultural forums to network and promote both architectural and art consultancy services.
Requirements:
** 5+ years of experience in business development within the art consultancy, architecture, interior design, luxury manufacturing, or hospitality sectors.
** Proven track record in building client relationships, securing new business, and managing projects from first meeting to completion.
** Strong network within art, design, and manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
** Understanding of art production workflows — from design to fabrication and installation.
** Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence in leading client meetings.
** Exceptional English communication skills (written & verbal); additional languages are a plus.
** Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe InDesign; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.
** Ability to travel internationally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
