We`re looking for talented Senior Back-end developer for Fortunejack team to help us reach the next level.
Responsibilities:
** Work with Go (Golang) and Postgresql;
** Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable GoLang code;
** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
** Build testable solutions;
** Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues;
** Make strategic technical decisions related to new products and functionalities;
** Help maintain code quality;
** Optimise the application for maximum speed and scalability;
** Take smart risks and champion new ideas;
** Actively participate in code reviews to maintain development standards;
** Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and product architecture.
Requirements:
** You must have 3+ years of web development experience;
** Experience working with RESTful web services and API development;
** Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code;
** Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL);
** Be excited about deploying to production and collaborating daily with your team and other groups while working via a distributed model;
** Be comfortable with iterative and incremental development;
** Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
** Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them;
** Be open to receiving feedback;
** Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desired Skills:
** Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;
** Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git;
** Understanding of web security mechanisms and best practices.

** Open to taking on the role of an emerging leader, guiding and mentoring junior team members as necessary;
