CARE Caucasus is looking for Marketing, Communications and Partnership Manager to manage CARE`s externally facing initiatives.

The Manager is responsible for upholding CARE`s brand and reputation, storytelling, leading a coordinated multichannel communications program and developing strategic partnerships with other stakeholders, in particular private sector, which will help CARE deliver its social mission. The Communications Manager works closely with project teams and CARE`s leadership to ensure internal and external communications are coordinated, on brand and aligned with our strategic plan. This position coordinates the execution of CARE Caucasus` external messaging. The person ensures that CARE Caucasus is well-known and trusted among donors, investors, philanthropists, the private sector, media and people, for its ability to reduce poverty and social injustice in the South Caucasus.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

Job Responsibility 1: CARE Caucasus` operational model and projects: 30%:

** Produce communication materials and media products / or liaise with external providers to produce media products, which promote CARE, its programs, priorities and social mission;
** Oversee redesign of the project`s website and content development the platform.
** Prepare talking points and presentations for CEO and leadership on CARE`s program, strategic goals;
** Define core messages to promote CARE with traditional and non-traditional donors, based on our value-add and distinctive qualities, and ensure that CEO and relevant CARE staff are adequately equipped with the necessary messages through key communications materials and talking points to ensure a cohesive approach;
** Liaise with other CARE Communication, fundraising, program quality teams and other technical teams to ensure their commitment support to CARE Caucasus` reputation within CARE International;
** Proactively reach out to media and stakeholders to generate interest in CARE Caucasus` programs and the social issues that are important for the communities that CARE works with;
** Oversee CARE Caucasus` communication in social media; Give guidance to project-based communication officers on messages, products and strategy. Regularly research and identify strategies and tactics that will help us improve performance, and build our audiences and engagement across many channels;
** Produce communication content and/or liaise with external providers to produce effective communication content that fulfill the objectives of the communication strategy;

Job responsibility 2: Strategic Partnerships (20%):

** In collaboration with the communication leads, Program Managers and the CEO, maintain, cultivate, and track relationships with key contacts private sector partners, partner organizations and other relevant external entities to raise CARE`s profile as a `partner of choice` in the Caucasus;
** Identify opportunities, propose and lead projects for collaboration and partnerships based on joint campaigning, joint events in collaboration with peers, donors, that serve projects` objectives and the social mission of CARE Caucasus.
** Develop and foster strategic links, networks, and partnerships by highlighting CARE`s programming strengths and policy positions, particularly as it relates to innovative gender equality programming.
** Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key funders/donors, peer and international NGOs, partners, and sector thought leaders, as assigned and appropriate.

Job Responsibility #3 People Management, leadership and partnership 20%

** Coach, mentor and support a highly committed, and professional team assigned to different projects to ensure that their plans and deliverables are in line with the overall communication strategy;
** Provide regular feedback and monitor progress of respective communications professionals at CARE Caucasus across several projects and initiatives at any given time;
** Regularly report on operations to the CEO to ensure alignment with organizational realities and internal and external opportunities;
** Promote harmonious and productive working relationships within the team and across the organization, supporting peers and fellow team members in helping them also meet their targets and goals:
** Liaise with CARE Caucasus` partners to build on best practices and common activities;
** Support peers/communications professionals at CARE Caucasus in identifying resources needed/planning budgets for communication activities;

Job responsibility# 4: Event management and planning: 20%

** Develop concepts and orchestrate all aspects of CARE-led events, including concept design, venue and logistics and alignment of the events with project or CARE`s objectives and brand identity;
** Oversee the resources, budget, professional service providers needed to ensure high-quality outcomes of all events, campaigns, activities;
** Develop partnerships with peer organisations, donor organizations and particularly private sector to identify opportunities for resource mobilization and optimization;
** Plan and execute high-level events and/or support CARE Caucasus project teams to initiate, plan and execute public events, serving the social mission of CARE Caucasus.

Job Responsibility #5: Perform other duties as assigned.
% of Time: 10%

Problem Solving (Thinking Environment)

There are three levels of problem-solving: 1) What has to be done and how to do it are clearly defined, and the incumbent will face identical or similar problems on a regular basis; 2) What has to be done is known, but how to do it is not defined. The incumbent must use interpolative skills to pick and choose the right strategy to address a given problem; and 3) Why things are done is known, but what has to be done and how to do it are not defined.

IV. Qualifications (Know How)

Indicate the minimum required level of education, experience, and skills necessary to qualify for the position and fulfill the organization`s expectations for job performance. Also include the education, experience, and skills desired for the position

A) Education/Training

Required: Degree in media and communications, social sciences, public policy, marketing, international development;

B) Experience

Required:

** Min 5 years of experience in marketing and communications, experience in the private sector and/or in a marketing agency is a plus;
** Good network of contacts with the private sector, media, local and international NGOs, marketing industry.

Desired: Experience in managing non-profit brands.

C) Skills

Required:

** Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
** Good story-telling skills (desired)
** Fluent written and spoken English and the knowledge of Georgian;
** Strong computer skills in MS Office applications;
** Versatile, quick-thinking, able to communicate effectively (verbally/written), and productive in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment;
** Strategic and creative thinker
** Comfortable providing creative direction and overseeing the development of creative concepts;
** Digitally savvy: knowledge of digital marketing, design, video production and other technologies (desired).
