GEOSTEEL is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position of Chief Accountant.
Duty station: Rustavi, Davit Gareji #36
Responsibilities:
** Review, process and control all financial documentation;
** Perform all general finance functions;
** Control and manage taxation issues;
** Manage expenses, charges, accruals, cash flow, fixed assets, etc.
** Provide timely accounting reports and information to management.
** Prepare and run payroll, banking operations in accordance with company procedures.
** Maintain an Impress Fund System and petty cash control,
** Review, process and control the expense reports, documentation and reporting required by the company management, government or other agencies.
** Perform financial audits of activities to ascertain internal controls are functioning as intended.
Qualifications:
** Degree in Economics/Finance or business-related field.
** Work experience as a professional Chief Accountant - minimum 3 years;
** Ability to manage accounting programs and practical work experience;
** Well grounded knowledge of Georgian tax legislation;
** Knowledge of international accounting principles and standards.
Requirements:
** Strong computer skills
** Fluency in English language;
** Analytical thinking;
** Time management skills and the ability to work overtime and follow strict deadlines;
** Active, well organized, with strong sense of responsibility;
** Excellent written and oral communication skills.
