POSITION: Civil Inspection Engineer (qt of vacancy: 2)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Ensure all civil and structural equipment on the designated onshore facility is inspected and certified in accordance with approved plans.
** Control and co-ordinate all inspection activities in accordance with COMPANY and CONTRACTOR codes of practice, procedures, strategies, and legislation where applicable.
** Provide regular feedback to the COMPANY Civil and Structural Engineer and Senior Civil Engineers.
Minimum Competency/Qualification Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in civil engineering or related field. (Preferred: Master`s degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering)
** Valid certifications relevant to the inspection of civil and structural equipment (e.g., CSWIP, NACE, or equivalent).
** Additional certification in relevant inspection methods (e.g., Welding Inspection, Structural Integrity) will be an advantage.
** In-depth knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles.
** Familiarity with international inspection standards and codes (e.g., ISO, ASME, ASTM).
** Strong understanding of safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
** Ability to operate inspection tools and instruments.
Minimum Professional Experience:
** At least 5 years of experience in civil inspection or a related field.
** Experience working in an onshore facility, with a focus on civil and structural inspections.
** Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams in large-scale projects, preferably in the oil & gas or construction industries.
** Experience in roles such as Inspection Engineer, Site Engineer, or Quality Assurance Engineer will be considered an advantage.
Other Skills:
** Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), familiarity with engineering software and systems.
** Fluency in English (both written and verbal), especially to communicate effectively with international teams and report writing.
