POSITION: Vibration Engineer (qt of vacancy: 1)
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
** Provide technical support to the operation team during the entire lifecycle of the rotating equipment, analyzing their dynamic behavior, operative conditions, and boundaries, to guarantee reliable and safe operations.
** Conduct a thorough analysis of the vibration readings & plots.
** Conduct testing & cross phase analysis for the rotating equipment.
** Utilize the vibration monitoring tools (online/offline) and other maintenance & reliability tools (IMOM, MERIDIUM) to support decisions in case of failures, or abnormality.
Minimum Competency/Qualification Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master`s degree is a plus.
** Relevant professional certifications in vibration analysis (e.g., ISO 18436, Category I or II) are highly preferred.
Minimum Professional Experience:
** Minimum of 3 years of experience in vibration engineering, specifically in maintaining and analyzing rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.).
** Experience in using vibration analysis tools (such as IMOM, MERIDIUM, and online/offline monitoring systems).
** Experience in the oil, gas, or chemical industry would be beneficial, particularly in maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment.
Other Skills:
** Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and engineering software tools.
** Knowledge of specialized diagnostic tools and software specific to vibration monitoring.
** Fluency in English (both written and verbal), especially to communicate effectively with international teams and report writing.
