Location: Tbilisi, Georgia

Brief information about the Project
The Project "VET in Georgia`s Growth Sectors" is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, acting on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The Project "VET in Georgia`s Growth Sectors" belongs to the BMZ 2030 Core Area - sustainable economic development, training and employment. The objective of this Project is to improve employment prospects in selected sectors of the Georgian economy, and it covers four outputs:
** Strengthening the institutional capacities of the institutions mandated to steer the VET system.
** Expanding the initial training courses (dual and cooperative) in the selected sectors in line with the companies` demand.
** Expanding the training and advisory services for companies in the selected sectors.
** Strengthening the role of the organised private sector as a representation of interests including matters of employment and private sector development.
The main tasks of the national intern are the following:
** Grow every day - we offer you a six-month opportunity to enhance your skills and bring in your ideas.
** Meetings, trainings and events support
- Supporting face-to-face and virtual meetings, trainings and events, all processes from planning to evaluation: invitations, assistance with the technical equipment, participant list, agenda, presentations, registration, support of participants, etc.
- Support documentation of meetings, trainings and events.
** Monitoring & Evaluation; Data management
- Support various M&E tasks
- Assistance with evaluation surveys, statistical analysis and data processing
- Supporting M&E reporting
- Support with data and document management
** Team assistance
- Analysis of various documents
- Assistance for research activities
- Support in using digital tools and formats
- Preparation of translations (Georgian - English - Georgian) as well as support in coordination of translators i.a. quality check)
Required qualifications, competences and experience:
** Bachelor´s, preferable master`s degree in a relevant field (e.g. education, international relations/ development, economics, etc.).
** Willingness to learn and take a deep dive in vocational education and private sector development in order to enhance your skills.
** Passionate, curious and open-minded to work in an international team, we are looking for a solution-orientated, well-structured team player.
** Good working knowledge of computer applications (e.g. MS Office, profound Excel skills, fundamentals of statistics and data processing, online formats).
** Experienced with different digitalization approaches/gadgets.
** Georgian on a mother tongue level, fluent written and oral knowledge of English. German language skills are an asset.
