We`re seeking a talented Senior Unity Developer to create innovative gameplay experiences for our mobile games.
In this role, you will take ownership of the technical development process, confidently driving the implementation of gameplay features from concept to release. Your strong command of Unity and problem-solving mindset will be essential in delivering seamless functionality and immersive experiences. As a mentor to junior developers, your guidance and code reviews will shape the quality and consistency of the project. Your ability to collaborate across teams, maintain clean and efficient code, and proactively resolve technical challenges will make you a key contributor to the team`s success. A passion for game development, commitment to high standards, and a forward-thinking approach will be your greatest assets.
Your Key Responsibilities:
** Implement game functionality as intended by design
** Mentoring Junior developers, reviewing their code
** Translate the design specification into a functional game
** Communicate with other team members to establish an effective pipeline and integrate media assets
** Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
** Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
** Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to address and mitigate these problems
** Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
We expect from you:
** Excellent knowledge of Unity, including experience with scripting, textures, animation, GUI styles, and particle systems
** Familiarity with level design and planning
** Experience working on Android and iOS
** Experience optimizing memory and space usage for the support of older hardware
** Ability to constantly learn and stay in touch with evolving game standards and development technologies
** Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
** Familiarity with current design and architectural patterns
** Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
** Experience of working with task management systems, preferably Jira
