As a licensed Georgian cryptocurrency exchange (VASP license No. 0023-9404) dedicated to providing secure, fast, and transparent crypto trading services. We are passionate about making cryptocurrency accessible and compliant for all Georgian users.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced General Manager to drive growth, oversee daily operations, and lead our talented team. The General Manager will take full P&L responsibility and operational ownership of Stellex, ensuring regulatory compliance, strategic growth, and operational excellence. This role combines leadership, business development, and a deep understanding of crypto markets. General manager responds directly to company director.
Key Responsibilities:
** Oversee day-to-day operations across all business units (compliance, customer support, product, marketing, technology)
** Develop and execute strategic plans to drive customer acquisition and market share growth
** Ensure full compliance with Georgian and international crypto regulations, including VASP requirements
** Build and nurture strong relationships with regulators, banking partners, and other stakeholders
** Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
** Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team
** Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and product improvements
** Represent Stellex at industry events and within the Georgian crypto ecosystem
Requirements:
** 7+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, ideally within fintech, crypto, or financial services
** In-depth knowledge of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and digital asset compliance
** Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and deliver results
** Strong understanding of Georgian financial regulations and crypto legislation
** Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
** Fluent in Georgian and English (Russian is a plus)
** Bachelor`s degree in business, finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
