Business & Finance Consulting (http://www.bfconsulting.com), a Swiss consulting company specialized in development finance, is looking to fill in a Key Expert role, Digital Delivery Expert for a donor-financed project in Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia).
Details:
** Start Date: Q4 2025
** Duration of the project: 7 years
** Type of involvement: project-based part-time involvement (full-time could also be considered)
Who we are looking for:
** Experience in designing and implementing digital financial and non-financial services for MSMEs in commercial banks or MFIs
** Expertise in using digital channels/tools to help underserved groups—especially young people—to access financial services
** A successful track record of introducing digital solutions to improve service delivery for MSMEs
** The ability to support financial institutions in adapting existing or developing new products, processes, and procedures—both traditional and digital—to better meet client needs
** Country Experience: Professional experience within at least one of the following countries: Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan
** Languages: Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Russian is desirable
** Excellent writing and communication skills
** Strong interpersonal skills; a proactive and collaborative team player
You will additionally:
** Assess the bank`s existing digital service offerings and institutional capacity for digital delivery
** Review current MIS components (e.g., loan application processing, portfolio reporting systems) and recommend improvements where needed
** Design a structured analytical framework with indicators to identify, monitor, and support youth-focused MSME clients
** Create a practical eligibility checklist for loan officers and relevant banks` staff to easily identify qualifying youth-owned MSMEs
** Provide guidance on developing a market segmentation strategy aligned with the banks` overall goals, using both quantitative and qualitative criteria
** Support the implementation of standardized procedures for reporting and monitoring
