Position Overview:
As an Accountant at CAMEX Airlines, you will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, supporting financial accuracy and compliance under the supervision of senior accountant or manager.
Key Responsibilities:
** Invoice Processing & Accounts Payable: Accurately enter, code, and process vendor invoices; match with purchase orders and receipts; manage timely payments and maintain vendor records.
** Financial Record Maintenance: Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately, including general ledger entries and regular bank reconciliations.
** Month-End Close Support: Assist in preparing journal entries and supporting documentation for month-end and year-end close processes.
** Regulatory & Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, accounting standards, and relevant aviation or financial regulations.
** Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze various financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and internal management reports.
Qualifications:
** Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
** 3+ years of experience in accounting
** 3+ years of experience working with the accounting program "Oris"
** Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
** Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
** Knowledge of the aviation industry is a plus
** Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required
** Fluency in Georgia and English languages is essential
