Talent Garden is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Junior Accountant / German speaking.
We are seeking a Junior Accountant with strong potential for growth for our client, a consulting firm serving German-speaking clients. The ideal candidate should have a desire to learn and evolve within the consulting industry, eventually transitioning into broader financial management roles (e.g. consulting, business planning, related business development). The primary responsibilities will focus on consulting, accounting, tax, and finance, with only minimal emphasis on auditing.
The team is made up of highly motivated professionals, including former Big 4 consultants (EY, KPMG, PWC, Deloitte) and ambitious university graduates. This role demands a high level of commitment and offers a steep learning curve, along with excellent career development opportunities.
Requirements:
** German language skills (at least intermediate level), with a focus on written communication, as verbal skills are less critical.
** Excellent university degree in Accounting / Business Administration / Finance or similar
** Advanced accounting and finance know-how
** Min. 1 years of work experience, experience in financial audit is a strong plus
** Willingness to go the "extra mile"
** Is a plus: Command of English
** Is a plus: ACCA or similar qualification.
Responsibilities:
** Prepare and evaluate interim and annual financial statements
** Participation in monthly and year-end closing
** All sorts of accounting-related tasks and reviews for various clients
** Cooperation with external auditors
** Engage in tax issues
** Engage in coaching and online business development activities (depending on level of experience)
