Job description

The Business development officer will be a key new member of the Business Development team. This function will be responsible to manage various aspects that support Business Development activities for the company. Primary responsibilities include the development of proposals and tender documentation.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

** Preparing proposals and other tender documentation,
** Coordinating business development projects,
** Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation
** Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales growth
** Conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients
** Managing the sales pipeline and maintaining accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
** Collaborating with senior management to develop sales strategies and achieve revenue targets
** Following up on leads, proposals, and client inquiries to convert prospects into clients
** Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities
** Negotiating contracts and closing deals within established parameters
** Participating in Company`s marketing and communications strategy and goals development,
** Ensuring maintenance of brand standards,
** Ensuring timely updates and placement of information on the Company`s web resources,
** Developing company`s sales materials,
** Coordination and implementation of promotional campaigns including content writing and production of all promotional materials,
** Ensuring the firm`s public appearances, including on the firm`s website, in the social media, press, and events

Requirements

** Bachelor`s degree in business administration or in a relevant field
** Minimum of 3 years working experience in the business development field
** Proven track record in sales with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets
** Good understanding of general business procedures, including sales and marketing
** Strong sales acumen with experience in consultative selling techniques
** Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
** Good writing skills are required for the presentation and preparation of accurate oral and well-written summaries
** Ability to produce effective and clear communication, both written and verbal
** Strong negotiation and closing skills
** Detail-oriented
** Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team
