About the Role:
The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for identifying potential supplier sources, conducting interviews with potential vendors, negotiating favourable supplier agreements, and managing supplier and vendor contracts. This role involves working closely with supervisors and department heads to understand the needs across the company, forecasting needs and supplies, and ensuring that partners continue to meet company needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement Management and Supplier Communication
** Source required products and services in line with company needs, ensuring optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms
** Identify and engage with potential new suppliers; lead contract and price negotiations
** Evaluate supplier proposals and performance to support vendor selection and decision-making
** Prepare and maintain procurement plans aligned with operational and strategic goals
** Manage and oversee tender processes
Market Analysis and Cost Savings:
** Regularly monitor market prices for key services and update internal benchmarks
** Conduct market research to identify trends, risks, and cost-saving opportunities
** Develop and implement strategies to improve procurement efficiency and reduce overall costs
Budgeting and Financial Control:
** Prepare the annual procurement budget in collaboration with finance and operations
** Monitor procurement spending and ensure adherence to the approved budget
** Identification and analysis of budget deviations, and if necessary, develop and implement corrective measures.
Other Daily Activities:
** Supervise daily activities of the Junior Procurement Specialist and provide performance feedback
** Track the status of ongoing procurement tasks and contracts
** Oversee contract implementation to ensure terms and conditions are met
** Support additional procurement-related tasks as assigned by the manager
Requirements & skill set:
** Bachelor`s degree, preferably in Business Administration
** Minimum 3 Years of experience as Procurement Specialist, preferably in Real estate industry.
** knowledge of tax legislation, business laws, and fundamental accounting principles;
** Knowledge of English Language at minimum B2 Level
** Proficient in Microsoft Office
** Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
** Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
** Collaborative mindset with strong teamwork skills
