The Impact & ESG Department at responsAbility is responsible for managing and measuring the social and climate-related impact achieved by our investment activities, as well as examining ESG risks across our portfolio companies. With the impact investing industry growing rapidly, the ability to properly assess impact is critical for the long-term growth of the sector, and essential to an organisation like responsAbility that is dedicated to catalysing development.
The Climate Impact team is looking for a Data Analysis Intern to support our activities.
Data Analysis Intern - Climate Impact (Tbilisi)
Your Main Tasks:
** Support the team in pre-processing and integrating climate data (carbon emissions, climate risks, etc.) into the relevant analysis tool.
** Proposing solutions for automating and facilitating processes in reporting and monitoring cycles.
** Contribute to the maintenance and development of the climate impact analysis tools and conduct quality checks on its outputs.
** Provide support in preparing periodic impact reports, responding to investor requests, etc. based on climate data.
Your Experience and Skills:
** A student or recent graduate in a related field (Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance etc.), combined with a demonstrable interest in the sustainability domain. Knowledge of the basics of carbon reporting is a plus.
** Strong analytical skills, as well as full proficiency with MS Excel are essential.
** Good knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably R.
** Experience in data cleaning and manipulation.
** First work experience in a data-oriented role is a plus.
** Excellent spoken and written English language skills is mandatory.
** High degree of initiative, reliability, and willingness to learn.
** Ability to take ownership of data management processes within the team.
** Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in multi-cultural settings with ease.
** Preferred Start date: 1st July 2025 with flexibility based on candidate availability
** Contract: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
