FORMA 2 IN GEORGIA is an engineering Consulting company operating in Georgia and overseas. The company provides technical assistance, Supervision, and Project Management for the local and international Construction projects.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a hardworking and experienced Geotechnical Engineer to join our team for the ongoing project "Transmission Line" in Tskaltubo.
The general works shall cover: check and analyze soil condition on trial pit, rock, and groundwater conditions to check lithologic log book, check soil resistivity test performance. write small note and photo record for daily performance .
Responsibilities:
** Conduct site investigations along the transmission line route (follow up on soil sampling, drilling, test pits).
** Check any deviation in case soil and rock properties to assess ground stability.
** Ensure compliance with local and international geotechnical standards.
** Supervise field testing and monitor soil investigation and soil resistivity test activity
** Liaise with contractors, surveyors, and project managers to address site-specific issues.
** Photo record and reporting -coordination with project manager
Requirements:
** Experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or similar role in Transmission line or relevant projects preferable.
** Minimum Bachelor`s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
** Strong knowledge of the Key Geotechnical and construction norms.
** Communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise with stakeholders and report on project status as needed.
** Attention to detail to ensure quality and efficiency in project execution.
** B driver license -ability to drive-in off-road condition
** Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
