QA Lead - Automation and Manual

Main responsibilities:
** Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
** Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the QA team. Provide regular performance feedback and conduct performance reviews.
** Develop, document, and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases.
** Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, operations) to understand requirements and define the scope of testing. Ensure all testing activities align with project timelines and deliverables.
** Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks. Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
** Identify and select appropriate tools and technologies for automation testing. Communicate and expand the QA team`s automation testing processes.
** Conduct thorough manual testing to identify software defects and ensure the highest product quality.
** Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and potential issues. Document and track defects, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
** Communicate and expand the QA team`s manual testing processes. Establish and enforce QA best practices, processes, and standards.
** Monitor and report on test coverage, defect metrics, and overall quality indicators. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
** Communicate QA status, progress, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
** Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality. Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other project meetings.
** Allocate and manage QA resources effectively to meet project demands. Monitor and optimize resource utilization to ensure efficient use of team members` skills and time.
** Forecast and plan for future resource needs based on project pipelines and business growth. Maintain an up-to-date skills matrix for the QA team to identify gaps and areas for development.
** Coordinate with other departments to balance workloads and ensure the timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
** 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both automation and manual testing and proven experience leading and managing QA teams.
** Good English Language Skills.
** Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
** Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
** Experience with manual testing techniques, including exploratory testing and test case design.
** Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
** Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
** Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
** Detail-oriented with a passion for quality and continuous improvement.
