The Uniform Care Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining uniforms or related apparel within an organization. This role ensures that uniforms are clean, in good condition, and compliant with any industry or company standards.
Key responsibilities:
** Inspect uniforms for wear and tear or damage.
** Coordinate repairs, dry-cleaning and replacements as necessary.
** Make minor repairs of uniforms on-site.
** Ensure all uniforms meet company standards for appearance and quality.
** Arrange for regular professional cleaning of uniforms.
** Ensure uniforms are maintained in good condition and cleaned in accordance with company guidelines.
** Wash and dry uniforms as needed, ensuring they are placed in designated areas once cleaned.
** Assist employees with uniform-related concerns or issues.
** Document incidents related to uniform care and take corrective actions as required.
** Collect/utilize worn off uniform and fill all related documentation.
** Inspect QR code readability, change and refresh info as necessary.
** Check and control inventory stock of spare uniforms and uniforms that are being kept in storage. Track spare uniform flow, inform about procedure violations.
** Address any special uniform requests or adjustments needed by staff.
** Keep the uniform room, spare uniform, uniform storage spaces clean and organized.
** Suggest improvements or updates to enhance uniform quality and employee satisfaction.
** Maintain detailed records of uniform maintenance, including cleaning and repairs.
** Provide appreciation gifts for front-stage employees.
** Inspect dressing rooms / wardrobe for left uniforms and hangers.
** Assist with new uniform issuance, spare uniform issuance and uniform return.
** Perform any reasonable, temporarily assigned job duties outside the position`s job description that, in the Company`s opinion, are necessary for efficiency, productivity or guest service.
Qualifications and Experience:
** Good spoken English language skills.
** Good spoken Georgian language skills would be considered as advantage.
** Self-management and organisation.
** A strong sense of responsibility.
** Experience in sewing and clothing alteration would be considered as advantage.
** Knowledge of fabrics and materials would be considered as advantage.
** Previous experience in uniform management, inventory control, or a related field would be considered as advantage.
** Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, track distribution, and coordinate maintenance efficiently.
** Ability to work shift-schedule and shifts during bank holidays and weekends.
** Ability to identify and resolve issues related to uniforms promptly and effectively.
