We are currently hiring for the following position: Computer Science Teacher
Job Requirements:
Education and Certification:
** Master`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Science Education, or a related field.
** Valid teaching certification/license in Computer Science or a closely related subject.
** English Proficiency: Minimum B2 level, preferably C1.
Experience:
** Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Computer Science or ICT at the middle or high school level (AP Computer Science Principles experience preferred).
** Experience teaching key concepts such as:
** Programming fundamentals (e.g., Python, Java, or block-based languages)
** Algorithms and problem-solving
** Computer systems and networks
** Web development or app design
** Digital literacy and cyber safety
** Ability to integrate technology into teaching and support students in using digital tools effectively.
Knowledge and Skills:
** Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
** Familiarity with educational platforms and virtual coding environments (e.g., Replit, Scratch, Code.org).
** Ability to design engaging, hands-on projects that encourage logical thinking and creativity.
** Understanding of curriculum development and student assessment in computer science education.
** Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
Professional Responsibilities:
** Develop and deliver dynamic, student-centered lessons that build both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in computing.
** Foster digital competence, critical thinking, and problem-solving through project-based learning.
** Support students in coding, designing, and presenting technology-based projects.
** Provide regular feedback on student performance and help them set academic goals.
** Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across disciplines and participate in school initiatives.
** Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and school leadership.
