Georgian Renewable Power Operations is looking for the Associate to expand Strategic Projects team
GRPO is one of Georgia`s leading renewable energy companies, fully owned by Georgia Capital JSC, with 71MW of installed capacity across hydropower and wind assets. As we enter a new phase of strategic development and operational growth, we`re expanding our core team to help drive key corporate initiatives and deliver on high-impact projects.
Role Overview
We are seeking an Associate to join our strategic projects team and support the company`s management in executing company-wide priorities. You will work collaboratively with the CEO, CFO, Head of Strategic Projects, technical team, and cross-functional stakeholders on a wide range of tasks - including financial modeling, project management, marketing, and communications.
Key Responsibilities:
** Development of financial models and performing financial analysis for strategic projects and initiatives
** Creating business presentations for internal and external stakeholders
** Issuance of periodic (monthly & quarterly) reports on energy sector & industry trends, conducting market research
** Collect, organize, and analyze data across technical, operational, and financial departments
** Act as a liaison with third party consultants & advisers on specific projects
** Track ongoing tasks and key deliverables across multiple strategic workstreams
** Prepare memos, reports, and summary documents
Qualifications:
** Bachelor`s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master`s is a plus)
** 2-4 years of relevant experience (e.g. finance, investment banking, corporate development, or energy sector)
** Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
** A strong understanding of financial statements and modeling basics (CFA, or progress towards CFA, is preferred but not required)
** Excellent communication skills in Georgian and English
** Experience or interest in renewable energy is highly valued
** Detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
