work rate: Full Time
Responsibilities:
** Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth site operations.
** Solve site-related technical issues and provide immediate solutions in coordination with engineering teams.
** Plan, organize, and direct the activities of a construction project under the direction of Executive management;
** Review subcontractor BOQs and invoices for accuracy and completion;
** Verify that the subcontractor`s completed works are in line with contract requirements.
** Prepare technical site visits and progress update reports.
** Define needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations;
** Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope, and on budget.
** Ensure all MEP installations are completed on time and in line with the overall project schedule.
** Ensure all technical aspects of the projects are strictly complied with and in conformity with the Conditions
** of Contract, Particular Specifications, General Specifications, Contract Drawings & BOQ;
** Collaborate with engineers, architects, suppliers, and other workers in the project, including Design, Warehouse, Procurement, HVAC & Fire Fighting, HVAC Ducting, and Plumbing, to develop safe, efficient, and effective project outcomes that will fall within the budget.
** Evaluate all costs, including materials, costs of labor, and time expended.
** Responsible for any delays, emergencies, and problems that can arise;
** Report project progress and budget to the Executive management.
** Prepare periodic reports for management, including the status of budgets, variance/change claims, schedules, disputes, upcoming activities & safety records;
** Develop and implement quality and safety (HSE) control programs;
** Qualifications:
** ** Bachelor`s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Construction Engineering.
** ** At least 3 years of experience in a MEP Construction engineering position
** ** At least 3 years of experience in MEP Construction as a Site Manager
** ** Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems and site management procedures.
** ** Familiarity with construction drawings, MEP coordination, and project execution.
Skills:
** Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook;
** Microsoft Project;
** AutoCAD and Revit;
** Experience in creating budgets, Drawings & BOQ in the construction field;
** English language proficiency - advanced level.
** Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
** Excellent analytical skills.
** Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.
** Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
