We are looking for an experienced Payments Manager to take full ownership of our global payment operations. This includes managing the entire payment flow, optimizing the distribution of transaction volumes among partners, opening accounts with EMIs and PSPs, and negotiating terms with financial institutions. You will play a strategic role in shaping the payment infrastructure that powers our business and supports our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
** Own and manage the company`s full payment flow, including onboarding and oversight of all banking, EMI, and PSP relationships.
** Optimize transaction volume distribution across providers based on fees, reliability, and strategic needs.
** Lead commercial negotiations with banks, EMIs, and PSPs to ensure favorable terms for account openings, pricing, and service-level agreements.
** Open and manage business accounts and merchant accounts with financial institutions globally.
** Handle daily communication with banking partners, EMIs, and PSPs (email, phone, video calls).
** Advise internal teams and clients on payment structures and suitable banking solutions.
** Prepare all necessary documents for account openings, including filling out forms, KYC/AML packages, notarizations, translations, and shipping.
** Research and evaluate new banking/payment partners for future expansion.
** Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM and internal tracking tools regarding account statuses and institutional contacts.
Requirements:
** At least 1 year of experience in Fintech, EMI, PSP, payment gateway, or a consulting company within these industries.
** Solid understanding of payment methods such as SEPA, SWIFT, acquiring, MDRs, and chargebacks.
** Knowledge of different types of financial institutions and their operational frameworks.
** Ability to manage multiple projects and partners simultaneously.
** Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
** Confident in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
** English proficiency at B2 level or higher (written and spoken) is a must.

** Experience with corporate documentation requirements in various European jurisdictions.
