The Embassy of Japan in Georgia announces a vacancy for the position of the Secretary of the Ambassador. The Embassy is looking for an individual who can start working from June 2025.
Job responsibilities:
** Managing schedules for the Ambassador, including arrangements of the appointments, and undertaking receptionist duties
** Drafting speeches, documents and letters
** Drafting Embassy`s press releases and its SNS postings, and engaging other public relations
** Translation and interpretation between Georgian and English
** Communication with Georgian partners, the diplomatic corps, international organizations and other relevant entities by telephone, e-mail and in person.
** Reference task on Georgian political and economic situation
Requirements:
** Bachelor`s degree or above
** Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in Georgian and English (Additionally, good command of the Japanese language would be an advantage)
** Proven work experience as a secretary
** Solid command of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
** Basic knowledge on Business Etiquette (Additionally, understanding of diplomatic protocol will be highly evaluated)
** Cooperative personality and positive attitude
Conditions:
** Full-time employee position to begin in June 2025 (There will be a trial period in the first six months)
** Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:45 (Lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00)
** Some overtime may be required occasionally.
** Salary: Complied with the provisions of the Embassy
