The British Georgian Academy (BGA), a premier international school dedicated to excellence in education, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Attendance Officer to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining student records and fostering a culture of punctuality and accountability.
Location: British Georgian Academy, Tbilisi, Georgia
Contract Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
** Accurately record and monitor student attendance, ensuring compliance with school policies.
** Investigate and follow up on unexplained absences by communicating with parents and guardians.
** Generate and present attendance reports for school management and relevant stakeholders.
** Collaborate with teachers, students, and parents to address and resolve attendance concerns.
** Maintain and update attendance records in the school management system.
** Support school-wide initiatives to promote regular attendance and student well-being.
** Assist with administrative tasks related to attendance, including scheduling meetings and consultations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
** Experience in an administrative or similar role, preferably within an educational environment.
** Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
** Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
** Proficiency in G-Suite and experience working with database systems.
** Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
** Fluency in English and Georgian is essential.
