Requirements:

** Educational: High technical education;
** Work experience: minimum 5 years experience in port operations;
** Language proficiency: Georgian, Russian and English languages (written/verbal);
** Good knowledge MS Office programs

Key responsibilities:

** Manage day to day activities of Port Team.
** Ensure that daily channel maintenance activities are performed to provide necessary depths in port approach channel and port waters.
** Control that periodical depth measurements are performed to monitor depths in approach channel and port waters.
** Prepare work plan for dredging vessel and suction cutter dredger together with the vessel captain and suction cutter dredger operator based on depth measurements.
** Control day to day activities of the port fleet (working time, productivity, performance, etc.).
** Perform periodical review of Port team mini-max register and ensure that all necessary spare parts, consumables and supplies are available to support non-stopped operation of the port fleet and vessel traffic control system.
** Perform monthly vessel bunker audits and ensure that all fleet is timely supplied with necessary volume of the fuel and lubricating oil.
** Perform periodical inventory audits and provide report to the management.
** Ensure communication, participation and involvement of Port Team members in company procedures and policies via safety meetings, daily meetings and toolbox talks sessions.
** Perform periodical review of port team procedures and ensure that all procedures are up to date and necessary changes are applied as necessary.
** Act as an Area Authority for the works performed in Kulevi channel and port waters and ensure compliance with safe operating system procedures during port team operations.
** Participate in a weekly maintenance planning meetings and ensure that fleet preventive and corrective maintenance works are performed on a planned and timely manner.
** Liaise with port authorities, class register, flag authorities and other authorities on the issues related with port team operations.
** Liaise with HR Department and participate in employee recruitment and competency improvement process.
** Participate in clearance process of the vessels nominated by the company customers for loading in Kulevi Port.
** Ensure safe sheltering of the fleet during high stormy sea conditions.
** Control port team budget and ensure compliance with planned budget.
** Ensure that international safety management (ISM) system requirements are implemented and continuously improved in TSHD Marian B.
** Ensure that all necessary and preventive maintenance works are performed on VTC equipment by the subordinated personnel.
** Ensure that all fleet, equipment and crew certificates are valid and system is implemented to track their validity period.
** Raise service and work orders to perform necessary diving, inspection and maintenance works to ensure good working condition of port facilities and hydrotechnical structures.
** Ensure that fleet dry dock maintenance list is prepared by the fleet captains and engineers and ensure that dry dock maintenance of the fleet is planned and performed on a timely manner.
** Ensure preparation of annual objectives, targets and action plan for the Port fleet and perform periodical performance reviews to ensure compliance with.
** Conduct annual performance appraisal of Port Team members based on assigned objectives and targets.
** Ensure that company procedures and discipline norms are followed by the Port Team members.
** Participate on dry dock maintenance of the fleet.
** Ensure that handover procedures are duly performed by the port team members.
** Monitor weather conditions and receive weather forecast information on a daily basis through systematic communication with the Port Authority.
** If necessary, monitor the progress of repair work and ensure their completion in a timely manner.
** Participation in Management of Change procedures to improve the efficiency of the port team operations.
** Ensure a systematic check of the technical condition of the terminal berths and the stability of the seashore.
** Ensure that periodical emergency response drills are performed by the fleet captains as per emergency response plan and drill reports submitted to the management.
** Report any incident case and participate in incident investigation and reporting, take corrective/preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
** Prepare quarterly and annual activity reports and present to management with recommendations for improvement.
** Participate in the review and preparation of procedures and standing instructions to ensure that the safest and most cost-effective working practices are used.

Salary and other conditions:

** Monthly salary (to be determined individually, considering the candidate`s experience and qualifications);
** Working period: each day of the week except weekends and official holidays, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (break is not included in the work time);
