Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps & CI/CD Engineer Specialist to join our IT Operations team. This role focuses on implementing and managing automation tools to streamline development cycles, accelerate processes, and minimize errors, thereby fostering a strong DevOps culture within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
** Design, create, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for application and service automation in testing and production environments.
** Administer cloud services and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, availability, and security.
** Automate and enhance development and release processes using scripting and automation tools.
** Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply updates and patches as necessary.
** Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps methodologies into their workflows.
** Manage version control systems and assist in code branch management.
** Ensure system security by implementing best practices and security standards.
** Stay updated on new tools, technologies, and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and system automation.
** Visualize metrics and create real-time monitoring dashboards using tools like Grafana for proactive incident and problem management.
** Monitor system and application performance with Prometheus, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing resource usage for peak performance.
** Utilize Rancher for effective container management and Kubernetes orchestration.
** Implement and manage Docker containers for application packaging and dependency management, ensuring consistent builds and deployments.
** Automate configuration management and application deployment using Ansible to reduce manual interventions and ensure server consistency.
** Design and implement CI/CD cycles using GitLab for automated code deployment and testing.
** Carry out tasks and initiatives assigned by your direct supervisor, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.
Qualifications:
** 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
** Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
** Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
** Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
