Overview: The Human Resources Director is responsible for formulating and administering HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and familiarity among management teams, and overseeing talent acquisition, training, and employee welfare within the hotels. This role involves strategic planning and implementation of HR initiatives to support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Administration:
** Develop and maintain HR manuals and ensure all management is informed of policies.
** Review and update HR policies every six months.
** Ensure timely response to HR correspondence and submission of monthly reports.
Talent Acquisition:
** Source and implement effective recruitment strategies.
** Organize recruitment events and manage candidate selection processes.
** Maintain a network of potential talent for future hiring needs.
Training and Development:
** Evaluate training needs and develop comprehensive learning plans.
** Monitor and propose improvements to training strategies and solutions.
** Ensure compliance with local legislation in training attendance.
Communication and Reporting:
** Produce monthly calendars of training events and evaluate feedback for continuous improvement.
** Provide management with relevant HR metrics and analysis.
Compensation and Benefits:
** Develop competitive salary structures and compensation packages.
** Monitor compensation trends and oversee annual wage adjustments.
Employee Welfare:
** Organize social and welfare activities to enhance employee morale.
** Ensure adequate housing and meal provisions for staff.
Qualifications:
** Bachelor`s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
** 3-5 years of experience in HR, preferably within the hospitality industry.
** Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
** Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
** Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language (s) used in the workplace and the English language.
