Job description:
Manager in Advisory is a management position with responsibility to manage a comprehensive team of Advisory Consultants performing business and property valuations, transaction advisory, feasibility studies, financial projections and other business advisory works. Manager, Advisory shall also act as a subject matter expert on consulting projects and is also responsible for managing team-members` professional development. She/he is expected to contribute to development of new directions and products in Advisory department.
Reports to: Head of Advisory. If the position of Head of Advisory is vacant, reports to Managing Partner
Key accountabilities and activities:
** Act as a leader of multiple client-engagement teams, providing guidance and supervision to the advisory team during performance of advisory works for management planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting, tax and regulatory compliance, restructuring and reorganization, corporate strategy purposes and other advisory;
** Planning of advisory engagements, staff allocation, supervision of implementation progress;
** Following the established administrative and working procedures and processes within the Advisory Department, including standardized working papers, memos, reports, timesheets etc.;
** Demonstrating excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines for multiple projects;
** Assess risks during project and develop and implement mitigation plans;
** Exercising professional judgment and suggesting any potential areas for expert involvement;
** Providing advice and opinions as to the value of a business enterprise, equity, debt, intellectual property, and other intangible and tangible assets, as well as to the due diligence, business planning and feasibility study assignments;
** Reviewing various reports/deliverables related to engagements prepared by Senior Consultants;
** Compiling components of various reports/deliverables prepared by consultants into complete reports;
** Responsible for the best quality of implemented works and produced deliverables for all engagements managed by her/him;
** Demonstrating knowledge in specific areas of industry or functional specialty;
** Remaining current on domestic and international regulations and guidelines as they pertain to, and affecting the advisory process as well as business risks associated with the client;
** Considering the Ethics and Quality Control Manual, promoting ethical and professional behavior and courtesy within the engagement team and in communications with the client`s staff;
Required qualifications and experiences:
** University Bachelor or Master`s Degree in Finance/Accounting, Economics or STEM.
** 3 years of progressive experience with proven excellence in business advisory.
** Experience in transaction advisory, valuation, business consulting, financial modeling, capital markets, corporate finance. Proven experience of managing a team of at least 5 professionals.
** Experience in working for large international professional service firm is an advantage.
** Solid knowledge in the areas of budgeting and business planning, financial modeling, analysis and forecasting, corporate finance and economics,
** Practical application of financial reporting (preferably IFRS);
** Full or partial certifications such as: CFA / ACCA / ASA / CIMA is an advantage;
** Ability to prioritize and multitask;
** Excellent verbal and written communication and reporting skills,
** Excellent analytical skills;
** Critical thinking;
** Strong presentation and negotiation skills;
** Focused and detailed oriented;
** Ability for delegation and supervision of work;
** Excellent aptitude of team work;
** Ability to preserve deadlines;
** Professional appearance and behavior;
** Willingness to travel for international engagements.
Desired knowledge, qualities and experiences:
** Participation in professional certification programs (ACCA, CFA) is highly desirable;
** Demonstrated academic excellence and strong academic credentials;
** Language skills: Fluency in Georgian, English, knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
** Proficiency in Microsoft office, advanced skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Remuneration/salary: Highly competitive, flexible depending on a candidate`s skills and experience, individually negotiated.
