British International School of Tbilisi (BIST) is looking to recruit dynamic, committed individuals who are self-motivated, energetic, flexible and confident to take up challenges.

Classroom Learning Support

A candidate with the appropriate qualifications and experience is required to work in the a team including teachers as well as other professionals supporting the overall development of students.

Job Description:

The role is to work alongside teachers in supporting students as groups or individuals, preparing resources and providing support to the extra-curricular activities programme. Candidates must have experience in teaching/supporting students in the class and should have a good command of written and spoken English.

Main responsibilities will consists of:

** Work with pupils on a one to one or group basis as required by the classroom teacher or Special Educational Needs Coordinator.
** Motivate and encourage pupils in their learning using strategies to build self-esteem, communication and organisational skills
** To assist children in their learning in order for them to develop academically, creatively, socially and emotionally.
** To establish acceptance and inclusion of all student/s in the classroom
