The company "2 Nabiji" is announcing a vacancy for the position of PL Products Quality Assurance Specialist.
Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 09:00-18:00
Work location: Tbilisi, Elizbar Mindeli St. #3
Main functions:
Quality Control of Private Label and Imported Products
** Participate in the quality control processes of private label and imported products in accordance with the company`s internal standards and applicable legislation.
** Inspect product samples received from manufacturers/suppliers based on key quality characteristics (visual, physical, organoleptic, and technical indicators within the scope of the specification).
** Record inspections performed and their results in the relevant forms.
** Organize the tasting process for new and existing products.
** Document tasting results in the appropriate forms, summarize and analyze the results, and prepare conclusions/recommendations.
Laboratory Control of Products
** Prepare product samples received from suppliers for laboratory testing.
** Communicate with laboratories and coordinate the process.
** Evaluate and record laboratory results in the relevant form.
** Respond promptly in case of identified non-conformities, inform the relevant people, and communicate with suppliers.
Communication with Suppliers and Manufacturers
** Search for information about existing manufacturers/suppliers and collect quality-related supporting documentation.
** Review, organize, and store materials received from suppliers/manufacturers in accordance with established procedures.
** Clarify additional information with manufacturers or suppliers when necessary.
** Manage written correspondence with suppliers and partner organizations in case of non-conformities or other needs.
Complaint Management
** Analyze the root causes of issues and conduct relevant research as part of the customer complaint handling process.
** Communicate with the supplier/manufacturer when needed to clarify the issue or resolve the problem.
** In case of identified non-conformities, communicate with manufacturers regarding product returns and coordinate the process.
** Prepare results, conclusions, and recommendations related to complaints.
Support in the New Product Development Process
** Participate in the process of creating briefs for new products, as instructed by the direct supervisor.
** Contribute to the preparation of Georgian-language labels based on information provided by suppliers.
** Support the process of receiving new products.
** Maintain the internal product registry and systematically update product-related information.
Must-have Qualification requirements:
** At least 1 year of experience in food safety, quality control, or food technology.
** Higher education in Food Technology, Food Safety, or a related field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or similar)
** English proficiency at B2 level (Russian is a plus)
** MS Office
** knowledge of Georgian food legislation, including regulations on food safety, labeling, and all related compliance requirements applicable to food products throughout the supply chain
** Experience working with laboratories
** Organization and attention to detail

** effective communication skills.
