TITLE: Accountant, Tax Department, KPMG Georgia

LOCATION: Tbilisi, Georgia
JOB DESCRIPTION: Work to perform includes but is not limited to:
** Maintain accounting records for client companies in accordance with Georgian legislation and internal standards
** Process and record financial transactions, including expenses, revenue, and cash operations
** Prepare and post bank payments through online banking systems and accounting software
** Ensure proper VAT accounting, including reconciliation of VAT records and issuance of VAT invoices
** Record and reconcile purchase and sales documentation in the Revenue Service portal (RS.GE)
** Support payroll accounting and posting of salary-related transactions
** Maintain and update foreign exchange rates in accounting systems where applicable
** Assist with preparation of accounting reports and supporting documentation for clients
** Follow up on payments and maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
** 2 to 3years of experience in relevant field.
** Strong sense of responsibility.
** Attentiveness to detail.
** Experience of working with Oris (or with other accounting database) is a must.
** Appetite for professional/personal growth and development.
** Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
** Fluency in English and Georgian.
** Knowledge of Russian would be an asset.
