About Peace Camp Gremi

Peace Camp Gremi is a social impact glamping and training center in the village of Gremi (Kakheti). We combine sustainable tourism with youth education activities, hosting individual visitors and groups. We are a social business that is cooperating closely with the Georgian inclusion community Temi and the German NGO Corridors.

The Opportunity

We`re looking for an experienced operations and hospitality professional to manage Peace Camp Gremi as our on-ground leader. This isn`t a typical hotel job - you`ll be running and developing a value driven initiative striving for Social Impact, Sustainability, Community and Inclusivity. You can shape this special place and to create exceptional guest experiences that align with our social mission. This is a role for someone who wants to build something meaningful rather than just manage an existing operation.

What You`ll Do

Hospitality & Operations Management

** Manage bookings for both tourism guests and training programs
** Ensure high-quality guest services and memorable experiences
** Coordinate with TEMI Community on housekeeping, catering, and maintenance
** Oversee facility maintenance, supplies, and vendor relationships
** Manage financial tracking, invoicing, and operational budgets
** Handle day-to-day problem-solving and decision-making

Training Program Logistics

** Coordinate logistics for international workshops and training programs
** Manage pre-arrival communications with project coordinators
** Set up spaces for workshops (room arrangements, materials, equipment)
** Coordinate catering timing with training schedules
** Provide technical support
** Ensure participant comfort and address special needs (dietary, accessibility)

Tourism & Facility Development

** Drive touristic development and actively increase bookings
** Build partnerships with travel agencies, tour providers, and tourism operators
** Increase visibility and marketing (social media, booking platforms, local networks)
** Implement facility and service improvements in collaboration with leadership team
** Initiate own initiatives for retreat, cultural or culinary events

Team Coordination

** Work closely with Peace Camp management for strategic decisions
** Work closely with TEMI Community colleagues who handle food and wine operations and facility maintenance
** Coordinate closely with Corridors project team and trainers for educational activities • Build relationships with local suppliers and service providers

Who You Are

Essential Qualifications

** Proven hospitality or operations management experience (3+ years) - guesthouses, retreat centers, boutique hotels, agritourism, or conference facilities
** Event/workshop logistics coordination - comfortable managing multiple moving parts
** Excellent organizational skills - you can juggle competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
** Regional and cultural competence - comfortable working in rural communities and knowledge of the Kakheti context
** Self-starter mentality - you don`t need constant direction and can build systems from scratch
** Fluent in Georgian and English (written and spoken)
** Service-oriented mindset - you genuinely care about guest experience and quality

Valuable Additional Skills

** Experience with international groups or cross-cultural environments
** Experience with and network within the youth work section in Georgia (Erasmus+)
** Financial management and budget tracking
** Understanding of sustainable tourism or social impact sectors
** Russian or German language skills
** Experience working in mission-driven organizations
