Within this ecosystem, the Savings & Investment domain focuses on gold and silver investment products delivered via mini programs and deeply integrated with Botim and PayBy platforms. These products handle real financial transactions, pricing updates, settlements, and wallet balances at scale, requiring a strong focus on accuracy, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Joining this team means working on mission-critical fintech products used daily by real customers, where quality and trust are essential.
The Position
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join the Savings & Investment team and take ownership of quality across gold and silver investment features. This role is focused on end-to-end functional and API testing of financial workflows, integrations, and non-functional requirements.
You will work closely with Product, Backend, Mobile, and Operations teams to ensure stable releases, accurate data, and a seamless user experience across mini programs and partner platforms.
Team Composition & Collaboration
** Team Type: Cross-functional fintech product team
** Team Composition: Product Managers, Backend Engineers, Mobile Engineers, QA, Operations
** Collaboration: Close interaction with platform teams (Botim, PayBy) and third-party providers
Team Goals:
** Ensure reliability and accuracy of investment and savings workflows
** Maintain high quality standards for financial and transactional features
** Reduce release risks through strong test coverage and early issue detection
Your Responsibilities
** Perform end-to-end functional testing for gold and silver savings and investment features
** Validate complete investment workflows including onboarding, product display, pricing updates, buy and sell flows, settlement, balance updates, and transaction history
** Conduct backend API testing for investment, pricing, order management, wallet, and settlement services
** Verify integrations across mini programs, Botim App, PayBy services, and third-party providers such as pricing, custody, and compliance systems
** Execute regression, smoke, and exploratory testing for each release
** Validate non-functional requirements including performance, reliability, and data consistency under high transaction volumes
** Ensure compliance with financial, payment, and data security standards
** Collaborate with Product, Backend, Mobile, and Operations teams to clarify requirements and identify risks
** Track and report defects with clear root-cause analysis and support timely resolution
** Contribute to test case design, test data preparation, and continuous improvement of QA processes
** Support UAT activities and release readiness assessments
Your Experience
Must have:
** Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
** Proven QA experience in fintech, payments, digital wallets, or investment-related systems
** Strong hands-on experience with backend API testing using RESTful services
** Understanding of financial transaction flows, account balance logic, and reconciliation concepts
** Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
** Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ownership mindset
** Good English communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Nice to have:
** Experience testing mini programs, mobile applications, or cross-platform systems
** Basic knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements for financial products
** Automation testing experience for API or UI
