Location: Tbilisi, Georgia
Contract Type: One year contract with the possibility of extension (company or individual)

Work Conditions
** The assignment does not require daily presence at the ASB office.
** The tasks may be performed remotely; however, the consultant is required to be physically present at the ASB Georgia office for up to 4 hours per week, as needed for meetings, document signing, or coordination purposes.
Background
Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund (ASB) is one of the largest and oldest German aid and welfare organizations, with more than one million members. Currently, ASB has 11 foreign offices and implements programs in more than 20 countries worldwide.
Through its officially registered country office in Georgia, ASB has implemented numerous projects funded by the European Union, the German Government, and the U.S. Government. These projects have focused on inclusive disaster risk reduction, provision of social services, improvement of economic and livelihood conditions, resocialization of persons in conflict with the law, confidence building, and humanitarian assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs), conflict-affected populations, and other vulnerable groups.
ASB Georgia is seeking the services of a qualified Legal Adviser (either an individual expert or a legal company) to provide professional legal guidance and support to its Country Office in Georgia.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities
** Provide legal advice to ASB Georgia on matters related to national legislation, labor law, Grants law, Georgia FARA law, transparency law, contracts, and compliance.
** Draft, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and internal policies.
** Advice on employment regulations and staff-related legal issues.
** Support communication with government authorities when required.
** Ensure that ASB operations and documentation are in line with Georgian law and ASB internal procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
** Advanced degree in Law.
** Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience.
** Strong knowledge of Georgian legislation, including labor and contract law, Grants law, Georgia FARA law, transparency law.
** Demonstrated experience providing legal advice to international organizations, NGOs, or private companies.
** Excellent communication skills in Georgian and English. (Advanced English proficiency)
