JSC Ziraat Bank Georgia is a subsidiary of the largest Turkish bank, which operates in 18 countries and has over 1800 branches and over 25, 000 employees worldwide.
We are looking for new team friends as Legal Officer
Location: Tbilisi
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
** Ensuring bank`s compliance with regulatory requirements;
** Legal assistance with existing and/or new bank product and process;
** Development, modification, and standardization of contract terms relating to banking products
** Representing the interests of the bank in courts, arbitrations, and administrative bodies;
** Ensuring the bank`s coordination with the National Bank of Georgia and other government authorities;
** Advising relevant departments on the establishment and enforcement of personal data protection regulations;
** Negotiating and drafting wide range of contracts;
Required Qualifications:
** A law degree from a Georgian university. A master`s degree is preferred.
** A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience is necessary. Preference will be given to a person with similar work experience in the financial sector.
** Knowledge of civil and administrative law, corporate law, personal data protection law, labor law, and banking regulations.
** The status of a lawyer (Administrative and civil field) will be considered advantageous.
** Excellent knowledge of Georgian and English is a must (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Turkish will be considered advantageous.
