We are looking for a proactive, reliable, and positive Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Hampton by Hilton Batumi Center. Job Overview:
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of property operations to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained facility. This role leads the maintenance team and ensures the delivery of exceptional guest service through prompt and effective response to maintenance issues.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
** Supervise and perform day-to-day maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of the property, including building systems, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety systems, and exterior grounds, in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
** Act as a first responder to maintenance-related guest and team member requests, ensuring timely, friendly, and effective resolution
** Lead and implement the hotel`s preventative maintenance program to maintain asset integrity and guest satisfaction
** Ensure strict adherence to Fire Life Safety protocols, including awareness of emergency response procedures and evacuation plans
** Coach, train, and develop maintenance team members, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and recognition
** Oversee and coordinate maintenance operations and special projects as needed, ensuring timely completion and adherence to brand standards
** Utilize the LightStay platform to track environmental performance and support the creation and execution of sustainability initiatives in line with Hilton`s goals
** Maintain accurate administrative records, including maintenance logs, inventory, inspection reports, and documentation required for audits and compliance.
** Support a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team
Other Duties:
** Assist in managing third-party vendor relationships and ensuring contracted work meets required standards
** Monitor utility consumption and support cost-control initiatives
** Assist in budget planning for maintenance expenses, capital projects, and inventory forecasting
** Provide after-hours or on-call support for urgent maintenance issues
** Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager to support overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction
Qualifications & Skills:
** A technical or vocational education in a relevant field such as electrical systems, plumbing, mechanics, building engineering, or facility maintenance is required
** Technical training or certifications in building systems (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) strongly preferred.
** Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required for communication with guests, staff, and vendors
** Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hotel maintenance or engineering role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity
** Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance operations
** Familiarity with Fire Life Safety regulations and emergency response planning
** Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
