China Railway Tunnel Group Co., Ltd. - Branch in Georgia is currently seeking a qualified, experienced, and highly responsible Safety Specialist to join our team for the Stepantsminda-Gveleti Road Project. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing health and safety protocols on-site, ensuring strict compliance with Georgian labor regulations, and fostering a zero-harm work environment.
Project: Stepantsminda-Gveleti Road Project
Location: Project Site (Georgia)
Position Type: Full-time
Salary: 3, 500 - 4, 500 GEL (Net), negotiable based on experience and performance
Key Responsibilities:
** Develop, implement, and update site-specific safety management plans and emergency response procedures.
** Conduct regular on-site safety inspections and supervision to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
** Perform comprehensive risk assessments and implement effective hazard mitigation strategies.
** Organize and conduct mandatory safety inductions, regular toolbox talks, and specialized safety trainings for all site personnel.
** Ensure strict adherence to company safety policies, local labor laws, and environmental regulations.
** Investigate on-site incidents or near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements & Qualifications:
** Valid Georgian Safety Specialist/Engineer certification (mandatory).
** Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably within large-scale infrastructure, road, or tunneling projects.
** Strong knowledge of Georgian labor regulations and occupational health and safety standards.
** Exceptional sense of responsibility, leadership skills, and the ability to manage safety protocols firmly.
** Strong communication skills to effectively deliver training and coordinate with project management.
