Job Summary:
The Data Operations Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, quality, and operational efficiency of data powering Impel`s AI systems. This role requires strong analytical capability, technical fluency across internal and external tools, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to improve workflows, reporting accuracy, and customer outcomes.
The specialist will manage data processes end-to-end, oversee AI-related escalations, support reporting initiatives, and proactively identify operational improvements that impact product performance and customer value.

** Essential Functions of the Job
Responsibilities:
Data Quality & Process Ownership
** Monitor and control internal tools and operational resources to ensure high data accuracy and system reliability.
** Annotate, validate, and analyze large datasets to support AI model training and optimization.
** Perform root cause analysis on lead handling issues and system inconsistencies.
** Ensure proper data flow between systems and internal platforms.
** Maintain documentation and process transparency within cross-functional teams.
AI & Customer Escalations
** Serve as a strategic escalation point for AI-related customer issues.
** Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to identify and resolve system or workflow gaps.
** Provide structured issue reports and actionable feedback to development teams.
Reporting & Analytics
** Generate analytical reports and dashboards to support decision-making.
** Track KPIs related to data quality, AI performance, and operational efficiency.
** Support internal stakeholders with data-driven insights.
Operational Excellence:
** Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and deliver labeled datasets within defined timeframes.
** Manage multiple parallel workflows in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
** Continuously improve processes and contribute to automation initiatives.
Requirements:
** English proficiency (B2-C1 level).
** Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
** Excellent written and verbal communication.
** Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
** High attention to detail and ownership mindset.
** Experience in Customer Service or SaaS operations is a plus.
Candidates must have working knowledge or practical experience with the following tools and platforms:
** Salesforce - CRM data monitoring, lead tracking, and reporting
** Jira & Confluence - Issue tracking, documentation, and cross-team collaboration
** FileZilla - Secure file transfers and data handling
** Manager/Merchandising Internal Tool - Internal operational systems management
** Monday Board - Workflow and project management tracking
** Marketing AI Platform - Monitoring AI-driven campaigns and performance data
** Tableau - Data visualization and reporting dashboards
** Snagit - Documentation, issue reporting, and process capture
** Microsoft Excel - Advanced data preprocessing, validation, and analysis
