About the Role:
Mitoni Systems is looking for a QA Tester to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of modern web applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to test new features, identify issues, and improve overall user experience.
This role is fully remote and suitable for candidates who are detail-oriented and comfortable working independently across different parts of the system.
Responsibilities:
** Test frontend and backend functionality of web applications
** Identify, reproduce, and document bugs and usability issues
** Create and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
** Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing
** Test REST APIs and integrations
** Check application behavior across browsers and devices
** Collaborate with developers and product managers during feature development
** Participate in product quality improvement discussions
Requirements:
** 1+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing
** Good understanding of web applications and client-server architecture
** Experience with manual testing methodologies
** Ability to clearly describe and document issues
** Basic understanding of REST APIs
** Attention to detail and analytical thinking
** Ability to work independently and manage testing tasks
** English proficiency sufficient for technical communication and documentation
Nice to Have:
** Experience with PostgreSQL or basic SQL queries
** Experience using bug tracking systems
** Experience testing POS, retail, or business management software
** Familiarity with browser developer tools
** Basic automation testing knowledge
