AI for Georgia is pleased to announce an opening for the position of Event & AI Workshop Ambassador/Community Lead.
We`re building an AI-focused community in Georgia through hands-on workshops, university engagement, and real-world learning experiences.
This role sits at the intersection of events, community building, and early ecosystem growth. You`ll help us run workshops, but more importantly, you`ll help turn those workshops into an active, connected community of students, young professionals, and AI enthusiasts.
This is a short-term contract role leading up to the event period, with potential involvement in future initiatives depending on performance and upcoming programs.
Role Focus:
** 70% Community Building & Outreach
** 30% Workshop & Event Support
** The main goal is not just to run events, but to make sure people stay engaged after them through universities, peer groups, and ongoing interaction.
What you`ll be doing:
Community & Growth (Primary Focus)
** Build and grow a community of AI workshop participants and interested individuals
** Help connect students and young professionals through universities and local networks
** Keep participants engaged before and after workshops (follow-ups, updates, simple communication loops)
** Identify active participants and help bring them deeper into the community
** Support the development of a "builder mindset" community people who don`t just attend, but participate and contribute
Workshops & Events (Support Role)
** Assist with preparation and setup of workshops
** Support speakers and instructors during sessions
** Help participants during the event and ensure smooth flow
** Handle basic on-site coordination (check-ins, timing, directions, general support)
What we`re looking for:
** Strong interest in AI, technology, startups, or innovation
** Fluent English is a must
** Clear communicator in Georgian as well
** Someone proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking responsibility
** Good at working with people in informal and dynamic environments
** Naturally curious and willing to learn how communities grow and stay active
** Experience in events, student organizations, tech communities, or similar environments is a plus, but not required

Compensation: This is a paid, performance-based contract role.
Format & Duration:
