Role Overview
We are looking for a high-level Android Developer to take ownership of our mobile solutions. You will be developing applications that interact with GPS trackers, payment terminals, and IoT sensors. This role requires a developer who understands the Android OS deeply—not just UI/UX, but also background services, hardware connectivity, and local data persistence.
Key Responsibilities:
** Design and build advanced, high-performance applications for the Android platform.
** Implement complex interactions with hardware via Bluetooth, NFC, and USB.
** Work on background services and real-time data processing for GPS and monitoring systems.
** Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
** Collaborate with backend teams (Java/PHP) to define and design APIs.
** Maintain code quality through unit testing, refactoring, and peer reviews.
Qualifications:
** Experience: 3+ years (Middle+) of Android development experience.
** Languages: Expert knowledge of Kotlin and proficiency in Java.
** Android SDK: Deep understanding of Android Architecture Components (MVVM/MVI), Jetpack, and Coroutines.
** Persistence: Experience with Room, SQLite, or specialized local databases.
** Network & Security: Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and secure data handling.
** Collaboration experience with UI/UX designers
** Hardware: Experience with Bluetooth/BLE, NFC, or external hardware integration is a huge plus.
** Tools: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD, and Gradle.
Bonus Points (Nice to Have):
** Experience with Jetpack Compose.
** Knowledge of C/C++ (NDK) for low-level system interactions.
** Experience with Google Maps API and Location Services optimization.
